best way to clean toys?
I have stuffed animals that cant go in the washer but I need them de-germed. I also need to clean wooden blocks and wood puzzles but dont want to ruin them. Have RSV in the house. please advise
To degerm stuffed animals stick them in garbage bags and freeze them over night. I do this on the advice of my daughter’s doctor, it will also kill dust mites. She has a trachestomy so we have to be super careful of germs and mites.
Go find something called Clorox anywhere spray, its should be safe for the puzzles, you can even spray it on food surfaces. I am addicted to the stuff. Smells like a very faint pool smell but it goes away quickly and kills lots of germs.
Hope the RSV goes away quickly, that is nasty stuff. My girls got the synagis shots for it and did not get it thank god but a friend did get it, get well soon baby!
OH PS Dont use Lysol on the wood puzzles and can ruin them. I did and it discolored the wood and messed up thepicture part too, and I sprayed very lightly
